Girl hospitalized after being hit by car near New Castle

An 11-year-old girl is hospitalized after she was hit by a car near New Castle.
County Paramedics found the girl around 4:30 Thursday afternoon in the 300 block of Basin Road.
She was taken to AI DuPont Children's Hospital to be treated for arm and internal injuries, and is listed in serious condition.
