Governor's Week of Service initiatives
By Peter MacArthur

Food drives, blood drives and clean up highlight next month's week of Service in Delaware.

Governor Markell began the tradition in lieu of an inaugural ball three years ago.

This year, the Governor and First Lady are calling on Delawareans to take part in a statewide food drive at Delaware State Service Centers, a weeklong Martin Luther King Jr. blood drive, and a clean up of the Laurel Boys and Girls Club.

The Governor's Week of Service happens January 11th through the 21st.
