Wilmington police say a Hilltop resident helped them catch an alleged drug dealer.

Police say a resident called and told them Ron Flowers was selling drugs in front of Joey O's Restaurant in the 1,200 block of West 4th Street around 12:50pm Wednesday.

When officers arrived, Flowers wouldn't tell them who he was, and became verbally abusive, but the cops found the heroin and arrested him.

Flowers, who'd been prohibited from being in the area due to a prior incident, is in the Howard Young Prison, charged with heroin possession with intent to deliver, breach of release and loitering for drug activity.
