Port of Wilmington unloads oversized brewery tanks

The Port of Wilmington got an unusual shipment Thursday.

Oversized brewery tanks, weighing more than 260 tons, were unloaded there using the port's new 100-ton mobile harbor crane.

The tanks from Germany are destined for Victory Brewing Company's new brewery in Chester County, PA.

The Port of Wilmington serves as a mid-Atlantic gateway for enormous cargo like this. The Port has received and handled wind turbine blades and rocket boosters.
