State Police have arrested a Leipsic woman and her boyfriend, charging both of them in connection with the murder of the woman's father.

Police say Jennifer Barnes and her boyfriend, Gerard Schweiger of Felton, are both being held without bail on first degree murder and other charges.

Police say Barnes' father, 45-year old Tony Mozick of Leipsic, was invited over to his daughter's house on West Street on January 5th, when he arrived Schweiger got into a fight with Mozick and stabbed him several times with a small knife.

Police say Schweiger and Barnes then put Mozick's body in a 55-gallon plastic tote container and dumped it in the Leipsic River the following day.

Barnes and Schweiger were taken into custody on Tuesday.

Authorities are searching the river in an attempt to locate the body of the victim.
