Delaware teams win 2 of 6 games in Concord Classic
Six Delaware teams squared off against six out-of-state teams Monday in the Concord Classic, raising money for Coaches versus Cancer...and the First State came out 2-4.
Salesianum, Delaware's 6th ranked team, whipped Church Farm of Pennsylvania, 57-34 behind 17 points from Donte DiVincenzo.
Fifth-ranked Wilmington Friends knocked off Academy Park of Pennsylvania, 68-58 as Larenz Thurman scored 22.
In other games, William Tenant of Pennsylvania edged host Concord, 51-49...Flint Hill from Virginia beat Dover 66-64, Strath Haven from Pennsylvania rallied to beat Brandywine 48-44 and Easton, Pennsylvania knocked off William Penn, 49-43.
