False report in Wilmington
Eighteen year old Tyana Bowens was charged with making a false report of an armed robbery and assault in Wilmington.
A fake call came in early this morning in the Alban Park apartments.
The victim said she was walking by a gas station and three, armed men jumped out and attacked her. She claims that one of the suspects hit her in the face and hand with a bottle while taking her cash.
Police say that none of this report ever happened. Bowens was arrested and is free on 600-hundred-dollars bail.
