Injury forces co-main eventer from Wilmington boxing card
By Sean Greene

An unspecified injury has forced Dennis Hasson to back out of his scheduled NABA light heavyweight title fight scheduled to co-headline the "Champs at the Chase" card at the Wilmington Riverfront Friday.

Hasson, who is undefeated at 15-0, was scheduled to face Kevin Engel, a 20-6 (16 KOs) fighter out of St. Louis, Missouri. In Hasson's spot promoters have announced that Virginia Police Officer Frankie "The Freight Train" Filippone will take his spot. The Norfolk, VA native is 12-2 with 2 career knockouts.

With the Philadelphia native off the card, the main attraction will remain "The New" Ray Robinson's (14-2, 6 KOs) attempt to take the NABA welterweight title in a showdown with Alberto Morales (11-1) from Miami, Florida.

Four fights are billed for the first two-championship card in Delaware history, including three with Delaware connections as Joey Tiberi from Newark, and Wilmington's Ryan Belasco and Luis Hernandez each have opponents scheduled to meet at the Chase Center on the Riverfront.

Tickets are available at champsmanagement.com and by phone at (302)-888-BLUE. Belltime Friday night is set for 7pm.
