State police are investigating a Sunday morning vehicle crash in Ogletown that killed a Newark man.

It happened just before 9 a.m. on Ogletown Stanton Road (Del. 4) west of Cheswold Boulevard, where police say Charles Yenkevich was traveling westbound in the right lane when for an unknown reason, his car left the right edge of the roadway.

Police say the vehicle traveled over the curb and a grassy area before crashing into some bushes about 32 feet northeast of the north edge of the roadway.

Police say Yenkevich was taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The investigation is ongoing.
