Smyrna, Polytech top seeds in wrestling tourney
There is a strong Henlopen Conference flavor in tomorrow's DIAA Dual Team Wrestling tournaments at Smyrna High School.
The top seeds in both divisions are from downstate...Smyrna in Division 1 and Polytech in Division 2.
The top three seeds in Division 1 are from the Henlopen Conference....after Smyrna the D-1 participants are Caesar Rodney, Sussex Central, William Penn, Salesianum and St. Mark's.
Following Polytech in Division 2, it's St. Georges Tech, Delaware Military Academy, Wilmington Friends, Indian River and Sanford.
The first round will start at 3:30 Tuesday at Smyrna.
