Dead body discovered off Rt. 273

State police say the body of a Newark man was discovered off Route 273 east of University Plaza near Christiana.
Police say they were alerted to the body around 2:30pm Wednesday after two pedestrians saw the body lying in a ditch next to the road.
Police identified the body as that of 21-year-old Rodney Faulker.
Faulkner's body has been turned over to the office of the chief medical examiner for an autopsy to determine cause and manner of death.
