Weekend concerts at Music School of Delaware
Updated Friday, February 15, 2013 - 7:38am
An event at the Music School of Delaware is promising pure gold this weekend.
Wilson Somers will celebrate fifty years of great piano music ranging from classics and jazz to originals.
Somers is an alumnus of the school. The program happens Saturday from 7pm to 9 pm.
Then on Sunday, it's a 'Sounds of the 60's' concert at the music school.
That features a bossa nova retrospective, a tribute to Jimi Hendrix and a string quartet, plus a raffle.
Sounds of the 60's runs 3 to 4:30 Sunday afternoon. Get more information at musicschoolofdelaware.org.
