Three major labor unions in Delaware are getting behind the concept of same sex marriage.

The Delaware State AFL-CIO, the Delaware Building and Construction Trades Council and the Delaware Public Employees Council 81-AFSCME. are appealing to lawmakers to support a marriage equality bill this session.

The three groups represent 40,000 Delawareans and say passage of such a measure is merely a sign of treating all people fairly in Delaware.
