Police investigate 2 separate shootings in Wilmington

Bullets are flying in Wilmington as police investigate two separate shootings just 30 minutes apart.

Police say the first shooting happened just after 1pm on the 600 block of West 7th Street. A 19-year-old was shot multiple times in the lower body. He was taken to Christiana Hospital.

The second shooting happened just after 1:30pm at 27th and Tatnall Streets. Police say an 18-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his lower abdomen. He was taking to Wilmington Hospital in a private car and is listed in serious, but stable condition.

No word on any arrests.
