One dead after crash near Newark

Police say it happened on the 1300 block of Thompson Station Road at just before 7:30 a.m.
When first responders got to the scene, the vehicle was engulfed in flames with the driver still inside.
Police say the lone occupant was a man who was pronounced dead at the scene.
His identity hasn't been released and investigators are looking into what caused the crash.
