Federal funds to help Delaware lead nation in healthcare reform
Updated Friday, February 22, 2013 - 12:26pm
Federal funds will make Delaware a model for healthcare reform for other states across the country.
A grant, totaling nearly $2.5 million, will fund innovations that could transform healthcare delivery.
The plan is to create programs to speed the adoption of new payment and service delivery models.
Health officials will also put in place ways to enhance health data collection, and integrate workforce planning, behavioral health and public health initiatives.
