By Associated Press

Flags throughout Delaware are flying at half-staff in honor of former Delaware Lt. Gov. Eugene Bookhammer.

Bookhammer died Saturday at the age of 94. He served as Delaware's Lieutenant Governor from 1969 to 1977 under Gov. Russell Peterson and Gov. Sherman Tribbitt.

Flags will fly at half-staff through Monday, when a memorial service will be held.
