Two Arrested for Attempted Robbery of a Wilmington 7-11

Two men are under arrest after they tried to rob a Wilmington 7-11.

Acting on a tip State Police went to the store on South Maryland Avenue shortly before 1 Thursday morning.

Troopers saw two men, one wearing a mask, outside the store.

The suspects fled on foot, and after a brief chase they were taken into custody.

John Alley of Wilmington, and Shaquil Mason of Coatesville, PA are now behind bars after failing to post bail.
