Wilm. woman struck and killed on Kennett Pike
State Police are investigating a crash that claimed the life of a Wilmington woman Wednesday night.
Police say 73-year-old Frances Goode was walking on Kennett Pike near Twadell Mill Road in Centerville when she was struck by a Subaru Outback.
She was taken to Christiana Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
So far, the driver doesn't face any charges.
