Wilmington Police say an officer caught a robbery suspect after seeing the victim chasing him.

Police say about 5:35 pm Sunday, Lt. Daniel Selekman was driving near North French Street when he saw one man chasing another. Authorities say Selekman pursued a man for several blocks and was able to take him into custody.

Police say Emanuel Carr, who they say is homeless, had the victim's cellphone, which he allegedly snatched from the victim on the street.

Carr is charged with robbery and resisting arrest.
