By Amy Cherry 5:38pm, March 18, 2013The state will have nearly $11 million in additional revenues to put towards the Fiscal Year 2014 budget.
State Finance Secretary Tom Cooke who's on the Delaware Economic Financial Advisory Council says this shows their December projection is pretty much on-target.
"All in all the $10.9 million is certainly an increase, but a very small increase, given the budget pressures that exist," says Cooke.
Cooke says the governor's recommended budget is contingent upon the passage of a revenue stability or tax package that due's for a committee hearing Wednesday.
DEFAC will meet three more times in April, May, and June before the Fiscal Year 2014 budget is finalized.
