Port Penn man killed in crash in Middletown

A Port Penn man was killed early this morning when his SUV went off the road in Middletown.
State Police say 42-year-old Harry Spohn was heading east on Bayview Road near Betts Road at 1:40 Tuesday morning when his Chevy Tahoe went off the road and hit a concrete pole.
The Tahoe then spun around and hit a tree. Spohn, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown out of the vehicle and died at the scene.
The investigation continues.
