It happened around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 3000 block of N. Heald Street, where police say a search warrant was executed at the home of Marlon Lindsey.

After entering the residence, police say Lindsey was taken into custody and transported to Wilmington hospital while detectives obtained a search warrant for his body cavity.

Police say they found and removed 25 bags crack from his rectum. Police say the 2.5 grams of crack were valued at $250.00.

Lindsey, a convicted felon, is awaiting arraignment on drug and suppression of evidence charges.
