Convicted drug offender arrested for trying to conceal crack
Wilmington police say a convicted drug offender has been arrested after police say he tried to hide 25 bags of crack in his rectum.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 3000 block of N. Heald Street, where police say a search warrant was executed at the home of Marlon Lindsey.
After entering the residence, police say Lindsey was taken into custody and transported to Wilmington hospital while detectives obtained a search warrant for his body cavity.
Police say they found and removed 25 bags crack from his rectum. Police say the 2.5 grams of crack were valued at $250.00.
Lindsey, a convicted felon, is awaiting arraignment on drug and suppression of evidence charges.
