About 250 energized blue and gold clad fans lined up to wish the Blue Hens good luck as they departed for the NCAA's Sweet 16 in Bridgeport, Connecticut Thursday afternoon.

Bob Varlas of Newark will be making his own trip to the Webster Bank Arena to root on the Hens Saturday.

"I figure this is a once in a lifetime kind of thing that a school the size of Delaware goes and gets into the Sweet 16, so I wanted to be there to experience it," Varlas tells WDEL.

Delaware will practice Friday, and then face off with Kentucky Saturday at 12pm. WDEL's Sean Greene will be there.
