County police arrest a Pennsylvania fugitive on drug charges just outside of Wilmington on Monday.

Police say a month long investigation of alleged drug activity led to the execution of a search warrant at the home of Jermaine Jefferson in the Alban Park Apartment complex, located on the 500 block of Homestead road.

Jefferson, a fugitive from Chester County, Pa. allegedly gave officers a false name while they searched the home.

Police say they found more than 52 grams of cocaine and needles along with various drug paraphernalia.

He's been committed to the Howard Young Correctional Institution after failing to post $34,000 cash bail.
