State Police have identified the husband and wife killed in a suspected murder-suicide in Wyoming.

Police say they believe Jay Wyatt shot his wife Janice in the upper torso before shooting himself in their bedroom, where they were both discovered by a relative Thursday morning.

Janice Wyatt was pronounced dead at the scene while Jay Wyatt was taken to Kent General, where he was in critical condition until he died Friday. Police say his wife's death has been ruled a murder.

The state Medical Examiner's office is conducting an autopsy on Jay Wyatt's body.
