A fire in Bear's Forest Glen town home community destroys two town homes while heavily damaging three others.

The two-alarm fire that broke out Wednesday afternoon on Rue Madora Drive has been ruled accidental by the state Fire Marshal's office. Investigators say the blaze was caused by discarded smoking materials.

One resident suffered a minor injury and was taken to Christiana Hospital for treatment, and the families displaced by the fire are being assisted by the Red Cross.

Fire damage is estimated at several hundred thousand dollars.
