WPD: Convicted felons face new drug charges after traffic stop

Two convicted felons and drug offenders face new charges after Wilmington police say officers saw them perform a drug transaction.

Police say Sean Grinnell and Kenneth Swanson were spotted making a drug transaction Thursday afternoon and the vehicle they were riding in was pulled over at the inersection of South Broom and Oak Streets.

Officers allegedly seized a 1/2 gram of pot and 26 bags of heroin along with ammunition and $1,600 in cash.

Both Grinnell and Swanson are in the Howard Young Correctional Institution in lieu of bail.
