Although the Sals lost 10 players from the championship team, they kept their undefeated streak going as they downed St. Mark's in three straight sets (25-7,25-17, 25-8) Tuesday evening.
The first set came to a close when the Spartans couldn't return a Matthew Malloy spike. Malloy had 10 kills.
Sallies never did look back with solid serving efforts and exploding kills from the net.
Junior Alfred Muniz contributed 33 assists for the Sals, and Thomas Wiechecki added 12 kills.
Although the Sals are rebuilding from last year, the 2013 team is off to a 5-0 start this season.
St. Mark's (1-2) will host another competition Thursday against Delaware Military Academy at 5pm, while Sallies hopes to add another win when they battle an out-of-state Unionville High School team on Friday at 4:30pm.
