Hear the sweet sounds of Ursuline, Padua, and Salesianum students grace the stage of the Queen Theatre.

You're listening to 17-year-old Rocio Posada of Newark, who's a junior at Ursuline Academy. This will be her second time singing on that magnificent stage.

"It's a love story, so it's about a guy whose after a girl, and it's a very traditional Mexican song," she says.

She's been singing since the young age of two and on stage as early age 9 and the most amazing part?

"I've never been trained vocally, but I just love being on stage singing and performing," she says.

16-year-old Alecia Nippert is a sophomore at Ursuline, and it's her second time at the Queen too, except last year she sang a duet. This year, she's going solo with "The Hill" from the musical "Once."

"Music has always, always been my release," Nippert says.

This vocally trained singer says before she performs she's a nervous wreck--but being on stage at the Queen is worth it.

"I love the Queen, the venue itself is just spectacular. I really have always liked the whole coffeehouse gig," she says.

Posada loves singing in both English and Spanish because of the way it allows her to express her emotions, and she hopes...

"Every though they can't understand the song, I want them to feel that music is universal," she says.
