Heroin found in Middletown
By Michelle Provencher

A routine traffic stop in Middletown leads to the arrest of a man in possession of almost 30 grams of heroin.

State Police say they pulled over 24-year-old Andre Waters, of Milford, near Biddles Toll Plaza Friday afternoon for exceeding the speed limit.

A K-9 sniffed out the drugs and cops seized about $12,000-worth of heroin labeled, "Obama 2."

Police say another $550 cash was found on Waters' person.

He was taken into custody without incident and charged with possession of heroin in a Tier 5 quantity, possession with intent to deliver heroin and speeding.

Waters was committed to the Howard R Young Correctional Institution on $60,001 cash bond.
