Wilmington police say the teenage suspect who pointed a handgun at officers during a foot pursuit has been arrested.

The 15-year-old teen was allegedly being chased by two officers on the 200 block Delamore Place around 7:15 Wednesday night. Police say he pointed a gun at the officers and one of them fired multiple shots at him.

The teen dropped the gun and fled down an alleyway without any injuries.

The teen's grandmother brought him to Wilmington Police Headquarters early Thursday morning. He's in the New Castle County Detention Center in lieu of $33,800 secured bond.
