Philly man cuffed after robbery, foot chase on Concord Pike
By Peter MacArthur

A Philadelphia man who crashed his car on Concord Pike Wednesday afternoon faces shoplifting counts.

Police say 47 year old Lewis Maye used a booster bag designed to evade security to steal items from the Kohl's store at 401 Rocky Run Parkway.

A worker confronted Maye as he left the store and police say Maye threatened to shoot him.

May got into a Chevy Impala and drove away but crashed into a sign as he tried to get around other vehicles.

He took off on foot but was caught by police in a nearby McDonalds.

He's been charged with stealing about two thousand dollars worth of merchandise.
