Phils stumble to 13th loss in last 14 games
Updated Monday, August 5, 2013 - 8:50am
A sub-par outing by Cliff Lee and just four hits by the Phils led to a 4-1 loss to the Atlanta Braves, and a three game sweep of the series by Atlanta.
The win was the 10th straight by the Braves...for the Phils, they have lost 13 of their last 14, the worst such stretch since late 1999.
Manager Charlie Manuel says the Phillies offense, which managed just 4 hits, needs to be more aggressive.
"I don't see no really gettin' after it with the bats. It looks like we're taking it very casual. It's like we say we'll get em next time. No. That's not, that's not good enough."

Cliff Lee matched his shortest outing of the season, giving up 4 runs, 3 earned, on 8 hits in 5 innings of work.
The Phillies are off today before starting a series at home against the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday.
