Small businesses to have increased options for health insurance plans
By Amy Cherry

Starting in the fall, small businesses will have an easier time selecting health care options for their employees.

The state Department of Insurance will unveil the Small Business Health Options Program or SHOP.

SHOP will be part of the Delaware Health Insurance Marketplace, where businesses can compare health plants, get questions answered, and enroll employees in a health plan that meets their needs

Small businesses could also be eligible for a tax credit if they purchase coverage through the marketplace.
