By Associated Press

State Police have arrested four people in the armed robbery of a Dover bank.

It happened about 1:30 p.m. Monday at M&T Bank on East Lebanon Road. Troopers say two men armed with handguns entered the bank and demanded money from tellers.

After getting money, the two ran away. A trooper saw two men matching the description of the suspects getting into a car. Police say one man tried to run away but was caught. The second suspect fled in a car with two women.

The car was quickly stopped, and the three people were arrested.

Thirty-year-old Larry Pierce and 30-year-old Phillip Yates, both of Dover; 26-year-old Vannessa Singletary of Suffolk, Va. and 25-year-old Dashunda Harmon of Milton are all charged with robbery and other offenses.
