By Gianna Banner

A vehicle stop led to an arrest of a Newark woman.

Police say Kasha Allen nearly struck officers with a black Chrysler on West 4th street in Wilmington Friday night.

Allen finally pulled over after driving four blocks, when officers spotted ammunition in the vehicle.

A search warrant was obtained, and officers recovered a handgun and marijuana.

Allen was committed to the Delores J. Baylor Correctional Institution for Women in lieu of $4,200 cash bail.
