A multi-car crash leaves a Delaware State University offensive lineman seriously hurt.

State Police say Jadira Green wasn't wearing his seatbelt when his car came to a stop in the left lane of northbound Route 1 and another car struck it.

The impact of the crash propelled Green's car into the right lane, where it was struck again, this time by a tour bus.

Green, whose from Maryland, was taken to Christiana's trauma center with severe injuries.

The other two people involved in the crash weren't hurt.

The crash shut down Route 1 northbound, near the Middletown exit, for a good portion of morning rush hour.
