Halladay has successful surgery
Phils right-hander Roy Halladay had surgery on his pitching shoulder on Thursday and the team says it was a success.
The surgery included work on his labrum and rotator cuff as well as the removal of an inflamed bursa.
Halladay will start a progressive rehab program and could begin throwing in 6 to 8 weeks.
