Two workers are hurt following an industrial accident in Wilmington.

Wilmington's Fire Department says a mechanical failure caused a crane to come crashing down 30-feet into two Helmark Steel workers.

The workers were on a platform on the 800 block of South Market Street when the 2,300 pound crane block careened into them.

Both workers were able to climb down from the platform themselves.

They've been transported to Christiana's trauma center with non life-threatening injuries.
