Markell stresses workforce education in weekly address

Governor Markell emphasizes the importance of an educated workforce in his latest weekly address.

Markell says improving the skill sets of Delaware workers can give them an edge when seeking employment in the modern-day job-hunt.

"The skill demands of today's jobs are rapidly evolving and the days of one employer, one career are over for most workers," Markell says.

Markell joined the Laborers International Union of North America earlier this week for the unveiling of a construction job training facility in Newark.

The governor says the LIUNA facility is just one example of effective workplace education.
