Pedestrian struck by SUV in Del. dies

State Police say a pedestrian injured when she was hit by a car while running across a road in New Castle has died.

Troopers say 30-year-old Brandi Baldwin of Bear died Wednesday morning at Christiana Hospital, where she was taken after the June 5 accident.

Police say Baldwin and 48-year-old Dominic Dillard of Georgetown were hit by an SUV driven by Randall Youboty of Lansdowne, Pa. when they tried to cross South DuPont Parkway about 10:10 p.m. Dillard was hospitalized in critical condition.
