A skydiving accident downstate sends two people to the hospital.

State police says a Laurel man and a Maryland man were skydiving together over the Laurel Airport around 1:30 Sunday afternoon, when their parachutes became entangled.

State police says, one parachute was unable to fully spread out, which caused the parachutists to improperly land together.

The Laurel man was transported to Christiana Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, and the Maryland skydiver was treated for minor injuries and released.
