Traffic stop leads to pot bust
A traffic stop along Route 1 near Middletown, lands a Philadelphia man behind bars.
State Police say they stopped a car driven by Vance Turner Thursday afternoon for speeding near the Biddles Toll Plaza.
During the stop, Troopers noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the car, and learned that Turner's license had been suspended.
During a search, Troopers found a shopping bag containing five pounds of what they're calling high grade marijuana packaged in 5 separate large plastic Ziploc storage bags. The pot has a street value of approximately $10,000
Turner is being held on lack of bail.
