Man shot during home invasion in Wilmington

Wilmington police are investigating an early morning shooting during a home invasion which left two injured.

Police responded to a call reporting a shooting in the 100 block of North Bancroft Parkway around 1 a.m.

Police located two victims inside the residence, a 67-year-old man with facial wounds and a 49-year-old manwith a gunshot wound on his left arm.

Authorities say that three young men, 17 to 20 years old, entered through a rear basement door.

The suspects got away. The investigation is ongoing.
