Many young men and women from across the state graduated from the 42nd Trooper Youth Week Program in Dover Friday evening.

27 cadets endured a weeklong training program which parallels much of what a Delaware State Trooper would undergo while attending Police Academy training.

State police say, the cadets took on a daily physical fitness schedule, attended classes, and lived at the academy to give them a better understanding about the profession of law enforcement and what it takes to become a police officer.

State police say, the 2013 graduating class includes: Alexandria Barrick, Luke Biller, Marquon Brady, Vincent Chandler, Sean Connally, Dillion Conway, Nicholas Delledonne, John Fisher, Sidney Freeman, Andrew Hazzard, Rocco Hladney, Kaitlyn Kanich, Adam Keir, Antwan Knapp, Brady Knight, Christopher Matt, George Miller, Thomas Phillips, Jonathon Pierson, MarElennie Rojas, Levi Shell, Rachel Spicer, Patrick Spillan, Emily Truitt, Michael Walsh, Brandon Wood, and Jonathon Zitofsky.
