Learn and save this summer with the Treasure Passport
By Amy Cherry

Spend your two days off checking out the hidden gems of the Brandywine Valley at one low price.

Just pick up a Brandywine Treasure Trail Passport for just $35-dollars for an individual or $75 for a family of five and get free admission into 11 local attractions.

Sara Teixido, Chair of the Brandywine Museums and Garden Alliance, says it's a steal.

"Up to $380 for a family of five, you would save off of admission, and your passport for one-time admission to each of these locations is valid through Labor Day weekend."

The attractions are all within 10 miles of each another and include the Delaware Art Museum, Longwood Gardens, The Delaware Museum of Natural History, Hagley and Winterthur.

Teixido says the passport isn't just for Delawareans, but it also gives anyone in the Mid-Atlantic a reason to come to Delaware.

"For people who are traveling from near or far, it's a great staycation, it's a great destination vacation. You can come for a weekend, visit a couple of locations, and come back two weeks later," she says.
