By Tom Lehman

Two teens are robbed outside an apartment complex in Newark.

It happened just after 7 p.m. Monday night in the parking lot outside the West Knoll Apartment Complex at 260 South Main Street.

Police say the teens, who are students at the University of Delaware's English Language Institute, were sitting on a bench when they were approached by a group of four young men, one of them was armed with a handgun.

The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money, two cellphones and a passport before fleeing toward Madison Drive.
