Vice President Biden travels to Asia

Vice President Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, will spend the next six days touring India and Singapore as part of a U.S. campaign to strengthen our partnership with Southeast Asia.

The Vice President will meet with heads of state in New Delhi first, to discuss developing the economy and increasing trade.

Moving on to Singapore, the Vice President will discuss the region's role in our national strategy.

While in Singapore, he will also meet with the Prime Minister of Japan to reaffirm peace and stability.
