A billboard campaign aimed encouraging Wilmington residents to anonymously report crime is underway.

The billboards display the phone number for the Wilmington Police Department's drug hotline.

The signs are part of an effort by community members to encourage city residents to be unafraid of retribution for reporting criminal activity.

The signs are posted at the intersection of Lea Boulevard, one located on N. Market St. and one on Walnut Street at the train station.
